Flowers for you on this lovely Friday.
And why I'm inspired to paint them, like this pink and gold teacup

I'm fascinated by bright colors like this
I just love how creative and brilliant Mother Nature is
There's color in just about every flower
Just like these...
and
I have no idea what type of flower this is but isn't pretty?
Lastly I had to show you three shots of this one below it's like every angle was different
Wishing you a wonderful weekend.

Who said you couldn't?
Who said you couldn't?
If you have a tight budget start your collection with a small painting on paper instead of canvas until you're your able to spend more money.
If you really like an artists' work and is a little out of your price range, reach out to the artist and let them how much you love their work, that you want to buy but can't afford it at the moment. That artist may offer installments for the purchase I know several artists (including myself) that breakdown the cost of a painting into 2-3 installments for you to purchase. It's an idea/suggestion obviously each artist is different but it won't hurt to ask.
So take a peek at the work of a few artist's just get on your fave social media outlet and search "artists". Follow and like which ever you like and check out their blog posts to find about release dates for new collections (body of work) etc.
In an upcoming post I'll talk about Prints.
In the meantime if you still have questions just ask email me:

My Favorite Podcasts
I've always been a sucker for learning new things... reading has always been one of my favorite things but now that there are Podcasts and Audio-books for every interest so many of my books have replaced by Podcasts.
This is what I have downloaded on my devices at the time.
For growth and personal development I listen to Podcasts and Audio -Books from:
Brendon Bruchard,
Wayne Dyer
and Tony Robbins.
Brendon shares his story of sacrifice and struggle, from an awful accident that left him severely injured and hospitalized to reaching success and going bankrupt to reaching his new goals through determination and perseverance which make him the man he is today. Listening his podcasts makes you realize that focus, determination and perseverance is all you need to achieve your goals.
Wayne Dyer
One of the greatest spiritual, motivational and inspirational speakers of his time.
Rest in Peace Mr Dyer.
and Tony Robbins.
Tony is probably the motivational speaker I've been following the longest, definitely one of the greats in my opinion in the area of motivational teaching and coaching. I started to follow him on infomercials back in the 1990's.
For business:
Being Boss,
The Strategy Hour
and Social Media Examiner
Great advice from guest speakers familiar with different types of social media platforms and how to best utilize for your business.
Advice on how to plan and achieve your goals through their own personal experience as business owners along with guests that provide further tips for entrepreneurs.

My love hate relationship with technology grows everyday.
What do you do when...
You can't get into your PC or Laptop at work because for one reason or another you typed in the wrong password more than once? Do you have to call someone in IT to help you reset it.
I just want to pick up the darn thing and throw it across the room. Do you feel this way with your gadgets because I've been like this for the last couple of hours after trying to get onto my website.
I have a lot of paintings to upload
But I have to remember:
To Breathe hahahaha
Take a break and smell the flowers and
just try again in 24 hours as suggested by technical support "What ???"
I think it was because I was typing my password with the Num Lock turned off - OMG.
The support guy assured me that this was all it was since we tried to log in using a different Browser, The upside to this story... he like my art so much he said to keep an eye out for his order since he needed Art for his new apartment.
Ha! well there you go... always say things happen for a reason.

Keep your threads?
You know the gunk that forms around the mouth of your tubes or jars of paint? Those are the threads I'm talking about.
Did you know that not removing those threads can actually decrease the lifespan of your Acrylic Paint?
According to Golden Paints acrylic paint drys through water evaporating out of your paint so if you leave those threads around the mouth of the jar you actually allow air to sneak into your jar through tiny cracks created by the threads between the lid and the mouth of the jar which causes your paint to dry out.
I never thought anything of it but totally makes sense.
According to Golden Paints they suggest removing any threads off the mouth of your opened bottles or jars the next time you use your paint just wipe the mouth of the jar before you put the lid back on to create a tight seal for your containers which will keep moisture from escaping by keeping air out of your jars and tubes of paint which will in turn keep your paint from drying out.
I need to say this because I'm not an oil painter this only applies to acrylic paint I have no idea if this also happens with oils. But if you do know... let me know because I would find any info on oil paints useful.
I am not sponsored by Golden Paint although I should be hahaha because I only use their products and I'm always talking about how great their products are. Just saying.
Thanks for visiting.
